What to expect:

For your first appointment we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and allow time for an initial check-in.

We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your appointment when possible. This allows time for you to relax and prepare for massage as well as allows the therapist to check-in with you concerning any changes since your last appointment.

Your therapist will invite you back to the room, ask you a few check-in questions, and discuss what you want to acheive during your session. Then the therapist will leave the room to wash their hands and allow you to undress, down to your comfort level, and get on the table. After a few minutes they will return, and after knocking to make sure you are ready, they will re-enter the room. At this time your treatment will begin.

After your treatment, your therapist will leave the room, allowing you to get dressed.Once you are dressed the therapist will come back to ask some follow up questions and bring you some water or tea.

During your session you may experience some physical discomfort as painful areas are worked. This is normal during structual work. Your therapist will stay in communication with you, and if, at any time, it becomes to much simply tell your therapist and they will adjust accordingly.

After a massage, depending on the kind of work you receive, you may feel light, relaxed, sore, tender, dreamy or sleepy. Expect change. There may be some discomfort later after deep work. You therapist will let you know if there's any steps you should follow to reduce discomfort.

You and your therapist are working together to create a healthier future for you. It is important you are honest with your therapist and disclose all health issues and medications. Everything you say will be held in the strictest confidentiality and will not be disclosed without a release from you.
